New Sunbelt Operation Center Coming to Hattiesburg

Laurel, MS – April 3, 2019 - Sunbelt Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the addition of a new center of operations in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. This 30,000+ square foot building, just a mile north of the US 59 / 49 interchange, is to be the home of a retail banking branch, mortgage office, and area of operations for various Sunbelt departments.

With its roots established in Laurel, Sunbelt has served Mississippians with full-service banking solutions since 1953. Now in 2019, Sunbelt offers a growing number of branches across the state serving over 37,000 account owners. The addition of the Hattiesburg operation center is not a consolidation of offices, but rather an opportunity to grow and build upon the services provided to all its communities. The center is to house over fifty employees with room to expand. All offices, including the main office housed at 1506 Congress Street, Laurel Mississippi, are to remain. Sunbelt is excited by the overwhelming support of its community to allow the credit union to expand, and the potential to bring new jobs to the Hattiesburg area.
