ATMs & ITMs
Conduct transactions, withdraw cash, make a deposit, and more. Sunbelt ATMs/ITMs are surcharge-free for Sunbelt members using their Sunbelt card. If you’re traveling outside of Mississippi, you can access thousands shared branches and surcharge-free ATMs through the Co-op and Transfund networks.
Sunbelt is also part of a network that offers members broader access to ATMs and branch services. The CO-OP shared branching network allows members to conduct most transactions at over 5,000 service center locations nationwide. Even if you’re outside of Mississippi, you can find a service center or surcharge-free ATM near you by selecting the CO-OP icon. The Transfund ATM network provides members access to 55,000 ATMs worldwide. Select the Transfund icon to find a surcharge-free ATM near you.
Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs)
Interactive — that’s the difference between ATMs and ITMs. ITMs perform the same functions as an ATM, but offer real-time, virtual assistance while you conduct your transaction(s).
ATM Functions:
- Withdraw cash
- Check your balance
- All functions of a traditional ATM
- ITMs can be used as an ATM 24⁄7.
MyTeller Plus:
- A real-time Sunbelt team member can virtually assist during your visit.
A team member can answer questions related to your account(s) and transaction(s); and, will appear on screen. - MyTeller+ is only available during normal business hours.

ATM check deposits are automatically held for 7 business days. ATM deposits are reviewed throughout the day during regular business hours, and the checks are either released into the account or the hold maintained or extended. If the check is not going to be released without a hold into your account, an Account Services representative will contact you. Cash deposits made into the ATMs are typically released into your account within 30 minutes. For a list of Sunbelt FCU ATMs that take deposits, click here. ATM hours of availability vary by location.
If you are a Sunbelt member using your Sunbelt ATM or debit card at a Sunbelt ATM (or an ATM within our shared ATM network), there is no fee. (Search for the nearest surcharge-free ATM.) If you use an out-of-network ATM with your SFCU debit card, you will be charged a fee amount set by that financial institution, plus a $1 fee by Sunbelt. If you are a member with an Advantage Checking or MyLife Checking account, any out-of-network ATM fee is refunded up to $25 each month.
There can be many reasons why a debit, ATM or credit card may not work. A few of the most common are:
- Your card is temporarily locked due to potential fraud.
- Your checking account has been in the negative for more than 30 days.
- Your card’s PIN number was entered incorrectly too many times.
- Your card has been closed.
- Your loan is 30 days delinquent.
- There is a system error with the merchant’s card processing network.
